Wario Clay Pot – WIP

I was inspired by some Games Done Quick marathon prizes to try and make clay pots shaped like various video game characters/objects, this one being the first of my attempts and a commission for my brother. The base shape of Wario’s head and cap were done on a potter’s wheel, then combined together with the rest of the facial features, which were fashioned from leftover clay. Pottery is a hobby I greatly enjoy and this piece was a fun test of my abilities!

This piece has already been biscuit fired and is in the process of being glazed; The final results will be posted relatively soon.
